Elevate Leadership Academy
Developing human-centric leaders in the Public Sector
According to research quoted by Harvard Business School, it's common for leaders to react poorly in high-stress situations. 53% become more closed-minded and controlling during times of crisis instead of being adaptable. Further, 43% of leaders become angry and heated during these times.
Given the stressful past few years in the public sector and the increasing levels of burnout and disengagement among employees, it is critical for emerging leaders to adopt a more human-centric approach to leading their workforce within their organisations.
LinkedIn's 2024 Most In-Demand Skills report quotes human-centric or soft skills as "evergreen places to invest your learning energy," with Communication, Leadership, and Problem-solving skills in the top ten in the 1st, 3rd, and 9th spots, respectively. Additionally, the skill of the moment is Adaptability, which is mission-critical for both people and organisations in embracing, navigating, and managing change.
Our Elevate Leadership Academy responds to these needs through its unique design and carefully curated content, equipping new and emerging leaders with the human-centric skills they need to create and manage high-performing teams in any Public Service organisation or jurisdiction.
Over six months, leaders will learn how to develop the skills required to lead with an EQ approach and apply these skills in real-world scenarios.
