Taking time, being kind, and showing kindness to others in response to their emotions at a specific time, whether they are feeling vulnerable or elated, cannot be underestimated. Taking a breath and thinking about another person, where they are, and how they may have come to work that day rather than being hard on them for demands demonstrates empathy and can give you buy-in that money can't pay for.
